How to Make Egg Chicks: A Budget-Friendly Recipe with 5 Ingredients

Who doesn’t see that chicks are so cute? Everyone loves them, kids and adults. So, how about you learn to make egg chicks yourself in your kitchen using only cooked eggs and 5 other ingredients?

In this recipe, we will learn how to make eggs in the shape of baby hens, edible, tasty, and so pretty. It will even be healthy and suitable for your little picky eater. Isn’t it a clever idea to encourage them to eat eggs and vegetables without feeling obliged to do so?

I-The Ingredients:

In addition to their pretty appearance, these chicks should be made up of 100% healthy and beneficial substances:

-A peeled carrot

-Pitted olives

-Mustard, which you can replace with vinegar

-Mayonnaise, preferably homemade

-Garlic powder

And of course, the basic element, our star of the show: eggs.

Prepare 10 to 12 eggs, to get enough for everyone, because believe it, they will devour everything!

II-Preparation of the Egg Chicks:

As you know, getting the ingredients is a crucial step, but it’s not enough, you need to follow the right steps to get the best results:

-Boil your eggs and peel them carefully

-Thinly slice the bottom so that the egg can stand upright

-Now cut the top about 2/3 of the way off and set the white lids aside

-Carefully remove the yolk balls

Take a bowl and mash your hard-boiled egg yolks in it

-Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise, and one and a half tablespoons of mustard

-Add a pinch of dried garlic powder and salt

-Once you have a smooth paste, pour it into a pastry bag

-Fill your empty whites and put back the previously removed lids

-Poke a straw over the olives and press well to put the eyes of the chicks in place

-Finely chop the carrots to make noses.

-Prepare a tray by spreading a layer of parsley at the base as a kind of greenery on which to place your egg chicks
