A broken Android screen does not always mean your photos are lost.
The right method depends on whether the phone still turns on, unlocks and connects to a computer.
Check Google Photos, Google Drive, OneDrive or any gallery backup service you used. If backup was active, your photos may already be online.
Connect the phone to a computer with a good USB cable. If the phone is unlocked and file transfer is allowed, copy the DCIM folder and other photo folders.
If the display still shows an image but touch does not work, a USB OTG adapter and mouse may help you unlock the phone and allow file transfer.
If the screen is black, the phone does not power on, or the device is locked, a repair shop may need to replace the screen temporarily. Avoid random recovery apps that promise guaranteed results.
Start with backups, then try USB or an OTG mouse. If the phone is badly damaged, professional support is often the safest next step.
