II-How to Clean the Range Hood

– First, you need to detach the filters.

– In a spray bottle mix 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of hot water and shake well, if you are cleaning tough greases, you can add a few drops of dish soap and then spray the solution generously on the hood’s exterior and interior surfaces.

– Sprinkle baking soda over any stubborn greases and leave for a few minutes to react, now use the brush to scrub the surfaces.

– Soak the filters in hot water mixed with 1 cup of baking soda, and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar for about 10 minutes, and then use the soft brush to scrub any remaining residue.

– To refresh and deodorize the hood and bring back its shine, you can use half a lemon and rub it over the range hood’s surfaces.

– Now rinse the hood with clean water to remove any residue from the backing soda and white vinegar.

– Use a dry microfiber cloth to dry the hood and the filters before reassembling.

– For a polished and squeaky-clean finish, use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe away any streaks and watermarks.

– Don’t forget to wear gloves throughout the process to protect your hand.

By following these steps, you can effectively clean your range hood using natural and eco-friendly materials, ensuring a fresh, grease-free, and eco-conscious kitchen environment.
