Pear chocolate tiramisu is creamy, fruity, and gently rich. The pears bring freshness, while cocoa and chocolate add a dessert flavor that still feels light after chilling.
This version is made without alcohol and can be prepared ahead.
Peel and dice the pears. Toss them with lemon juice to keep them fresh and bright.
Whip the cold cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Fold in the whipped cream gently.
Dip the ladyfingers quickly in milk. Arrange one layer in a dish, add mascarpone cream, diced pears, cocoa, and grated chocolate.
Repeat with a second layer. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a softer texture.
Pear chocolate tiramisu is best served well chilled. Quick-dipped biscuits, ripe pears, and a light mascarpone cream give the cleanest result.
