Homemade Carrot Mango Orange Drink For Hot Days

This carrot, mango and orange drink is bright, refreshing and easy to make at home.

It is perfect for hot days when you want something fruity, colorful and lighter than a dessert.

Ingredients For 4 Glasses

  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, about 250 g flesh
  • 500 ml fresh orange juice
  • 150 ml cold water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or sugar, optional
  • 8 ice cubes, for serving
  • 4 mint leaves, optional

How To Make It

Cook the carrot slices in simmering water for 8 to 10 minutes, just until tender. Drain and let them cool completely. This gives a smoother drink and softens the earthy flavor.

Add the cooled carrots, mango flesh, orange juice, cold water and lemon juice to a blender. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until the texture is smooth.

Taste before sweetening. If the oranges and mango are ripe, you may not need anything else. For a softer flavor, add 1 teaspoon honey or sugar and blend again.

How To Serve It Cold

Chill the drink for at least 30 minutes before serving, or pour it directly over ice. Stir well if it separates slightly in the fridge.

For a thinner drink, add another 50 to 100 ml cold water. For a thicker smoothie-style version, reduce the water and add a few more mango cubes.

Conclusion

This homemade carrot mango orange drink is simple, economical and naturally full of summer color. Serve it very cold for the best flavor and texture.
